I am sorry but this is totally unacceptable!!! 

Example: I posted a response to a message about
alternatives to beamsplitters for close up photography.
The subject of my message was changed to: "Realist min focus"
This was not the heart of my message. I did not want my
message to have this subject line.  I object to making
any changes to my postings which are sent under my
name.

Why don't you ask us if we want our list to be moderated 
and if we agree to have our messages "edited"?  This is 
our list and you people are there to serve us, not to
edit our messages!

It is a good idea for people to voluntarily follow
some good listmanship rules.  But to force us to do
so is unacceptable IMO.

You guys must have some better things to do with your 
spare time...
