You can use ANY size mount with a full frame 35mm image - 
macro or otherwise. The same "rules" apply no matter what 
camera you use or what the subject is. The so called full 
frame 8p mount has an aperture width of 33mm. That gives you 
3mm to set the window with. The RBT wide mount is 31.5 and the 
7p is 28mm. You may find that the choice of a smaller mount is 
for framing and cropping and not because of the window.

So if you run out of image area trying to correct a window 
violation you will need to go to the next smaller mount, and 
if not you don't - as simple as that.
