Yes, I can move the whole unit to place the focus where I 
want. Of course at these magnifications we are talking about a 
fairly small depth of field even with an fstop of 32-90.

Like any other macro bellows set up - by moving the lens 
further or close to the camera on the bellows.

That is because I am confused on where the actual measurment 
is taken from: is it the film plane, the exit pupil of the 
lens, etc.? I assume if the film plane then it should include 
the full light path through all the mirror bouncing?
