I have been reading with interest all of the discussions about what to do when taking pictures on a moving boat or an airplane. How to compensate for movement etc.
The tech info is interesting but if I tried it I never shoot a picture.
This summer I was in a single engine plane on a tour around Mt. McKinley, in Alaska. I didn't have my Kodak Stereo with me so I used my point and shoot camera to take pictures of the mountain ranges surrounding McKinley. I held the camera steady against the window of the plane and took two shots of a scene. The movement of the plane gave me my distance.
When I got home I had the pictures developed and I cut and mounted them into Q-Vu mounts.
They look great to me. All of my friends are astonished with the 3D images.
