Question: Why even bother with an Iloca viewer
when you have so much better viewers to use?

This is hard to believe... I was under the impression
that once you trim the top and bottom, the halogen
bulb is as tall as an ordinary no. 14 bulb.... The
toughest viewers to fit the halogen bulb are the View-Master
viewers where trimming is needed both ways. See:

http://home.att.net/~drt-3d/catalog/bulbs/HalogenTips.htm

But I have not tried to fit a halogen bulb in the
one and only Iloca viewer that went through my hands.
This viewer appears to have single-element lenses so
that's why I asked who you want to use it.

In any case, good job with the homemade bulb!
