Dear John G. (and list members, of course)

IMO the technique you outline is nothing short of 
BRILLIANT! (I didn't quote you because I didn't want
to damage anything you said by editing.) I tried it
as soon as I read it. It's super-easy,  the computer
windows make a perfect frame for judging the 
stereo window, and you can work in 3D! Eureka!

I am going to combine this technique with one 
suggested to me by Bob Aldridge so that I can then
touch up framing and composition without fear of
damaging the window. 

Thank you ever so much. Your technique is worth
the effort even for stereo-window Luddites like
myself! 

I'm going to write up something about making stereo
cards on the computer when I can. Is it OK if I include
your suggestions?
