[photo-3d] DIY stereo Daguerrotypes

One fascinating thing I forgot to write before
clicking "send" on my post about the NSA-SCR
event in Ft. Worth Saturday:  Aaron Swinson
(on this list??) showed up with a stereo
Daguerrotype he had made himself!  I knew
nothing of the process involved, or even what
a Daguerrotype would look like, having only
heard of them from the occasional mention on
this list, so this was very interesting to see.

I'm curious what kind of viewer should be used
for these images, as without a viewer it was
difficult to see anything but your own reflection
when looking at them.

Aaron explained that he took a course in how to
make Daguerrotypes, and decided to try it in
3D.  What a diverse bunch of stereo hobbyists
we had show up for the meeting!  Definitely a
day of great fun!
