Well,
I went to the Hardware store and found that I could easily make a PVC
screen frame for a very resonable price!
The next question is what aspect ration should I use? I've been
assuming I should have at least a 1:1.4 ration for full frame RBT, if
not a 1:1.5 for 2x2 projection. I notice though that so many other
screens are square. Is that because of the Realist Format of 23 x 24?
I have several configurations that have occured to me (assuming a
1.5" loss at each border for reinforcement and grommets):
A. Six 63" x 73" screens
B. Two 74" x 111" screens across the top and three 52" x 73" screens
across the bottom (no waste)
C. Four 63" x 88.5" screens and two 42" x 63" screens (if not
directional material) or Four 63" x 94+" screens if it is.
D. Two 63" x 94" screens on the left side, one 85" X 128" screen in
the upper right corner and two 41" x 62.5" screens below that.
E. Two 63" x 63" screens on the left, and four 63" x 78" screens.
I would love to have a huge screen in case I do shows in larger
buildings, but I wonder if my TDC 116 would be bright enough.
My club wouldn't couldn't use anything much taller than 60" (we have
low hanging lights.
