Should you have more call for this type of subject matter in the future,
your publisher might be interested in an approach that some German companies
have taken for stereoscopic books and product brochures where the subject
matter is horizontal. They make use of the German KMQ glasses, which have
prisms (no lenses) for over-and-under viewing. These glasses are low cost
(injection molded clear plastic lorgnettes) and surprisingly high quality
for the price.
I seem to have mislaid the address and other contact information for Dr.
Quick (the "Q" of KMQ) whom I had corresponded with a few years ago. Maybe
some other P3D personage has this info.
