[photo-3d] potential digital camera

Yes, I agree there is nothing better than a sharp, quality slide pair in a
viewer.

But imagine when digital ccds are 100 megapixels (how far down the road? How
fast are cpu speeds increasing?)~
The possibilites of what a digital stereo camera COULD do are tremendous!
Variable interocular should not be a problem, as well as automatic window
placement. The digital environment allows any kind of color or other
manipulation, finally the image could be output to slide (or other output
that may replicate the experience of film).

It will be interesting to see how the internet and hdtv supports stereo
imaging... it will no doubt be a digital world.
