Apparently two people really wanted it (both appear to be experienced
ebay users by their feedback numbers), and were each willing to go over
$700, which is all it takes. I see that the the third and fourth bidder
were each at $177.
By my standards it is not "worth" that much (I'd rather have
Belplasca), but I suppose many of my purchases would seem to be
excessively expensive by *someone's* standards, if not by price guide
