[photo-3d] First Workshop...NSA 2001

Hey Marty!

First off, I want to express my appreciation for the work you're doing as
Chairman of the NSA 2001 Convention. All of us Past Chairpersons know
exactly the load you're carrying for the benefit of everyone attending.
Thank you very much!

Would you be so kind as to forward this to Photo3-D for me?

Oh, boy, I'll be first!

Just a note to let you know that I completed my proposal form and will send
it over to Lee Moore in tomorrow's mail.

I'll be presenting a do-it-yourselfer's workshop called the FrankenPony
Project. This workshop will detail the process of building a full-frame
35mm stereo camera by slicing and splicing a pair of Kodak Pony 135
cameras. Kind of a poor man's RBT that is surprisingly easy and
inexpensive to construct, but with amazingly good results.

Members of the Genesee Valley Stereo Guild can vouch for the quality of
stereo prints and slides from this camera, having seen both over the past
two and a half years since FrankenPony was first brought to life.

This workshop alone will be worth the price of the Convention for anyone
who has wanted the versatility and convenience of an 8p stereo camera
without having to sell the farm to pay for it.

For a preview of the workshop, see

Bill Davis
