Hi,
Actually the new version, 3.0, was just released. I agree it is a very nice
"3D" mapping program.

On a different note, if anyone likes maps (I do!), Topo USA has a nice 3D
(sort of, not true stereo) effect with shading. I just got the new version
2.0 from Amazon for just $50, a big discount off the usual $85-$90
elsewhere. And I am having lots of fun with it. It's great for planning
trips to the mountains, finding back roads with pronounced mountain views
(for stereo photography, naturally). I really don't know why Amazon was so
cheap...if anyone else wants this program, hurry and order before they find
out they're losing money on it... :)
