I was just examining one of my recently arrived Times Square 2000 (New Year's 
Eve) View Master packets and I felt compelled to comment on it.  I want to 
congratulate Sheldon Aronowitz and John Zelenka on the fine job they did.  
What an assignment!  Night photography is difficult enough under ordinary 
circumstances, I can only imagine the difficulties presented by the 
surroundings they worked in that night.  I understand that the two of them 
were working independently and only later got together to produce the 3 reel 
set.  Thanks to them, we have what are probably the only stereo views of that 
celebrated venue on that historic night.  I know that Sheldon struggled 
mightily with the city of New York to get the proper credentials.  I'm sure 
that the struggle with View Master to see the project through was equally 
daunting.
How many new non-toddler oriented View Master sets do we get these days?  Not 
many.  There are only a limited number of these sets available, I got my 4!
