S3D Credit card convenience?

A question for sellers:

I would like to be able to charge a credit card, for the convenience
of the people who buy from me, especially out of the USA.  Last time
I checked with my local bank, the setup fees and processing rates were
too high.  Has this situation changed?  I am also getting offers via
unsolicited email (=spam) which I have not bothered to check.  I would
be happy and thankful to hear any words of wisdom from S3D sellers
