Through an exclusive arrangement with the manufacturer of the LifeLike
Stereo slide viewer, Berezin Stereo Photography Products are able to
offer a special edition of the LifeLike stereo slide viewer which
includes 47mm focal length achromatic lenses and a halogen bulb. An
Achromatic lens is a system of lenses joined in order to minimize color
and shape distortions (chromatic and spherical aberrations) that are
inherent in a single lens system.  

I can say personally that I am very happy with this modification.  The
LifeLike's design allow it to be brighter than most other viewers
because of the proximity of the reflector to the slide.  

The LifeLike viewer offers modern features such as, automatic
illumination.  The light will turn on when a slide is inserted and will
turn off when the slide is removed or the viewer is placed on a flat
surface. 

It also includes a specially modified halogen bulb which is designed
specifically for the viewer.  This bulb gives a brighter more natural
light than conventional incandescent bulbs.

The modern design, professional finish and clean white color of the
viewer make it ideal for wedding packages and medical applications.  It
views Nimslo and Realist format slides.
