On photographica fairs here in Holland I often see nice straps  with
screw that fit in the tripod socket. The strap fits around your wrist. I
bought one and I think this camera accessory very convenient.
These things are very cheap here. I bought mine for $ 2.- 
If anyone wishes such "wrist strap" let me know that and I'll buy it for
you.
