I've got a somewhat unusual item for sale. It's a mirror box designed to
project 35mm 3D motion pictures in the over/under format. See a picture
and description at:

http://www.aifx.com/sell/mirbox.htm

This device was made by 3D Video Corp of North Hollywood (now defunct)
in 1983/84. It is similar in design to mirror box adapters for
photography. It was intended to clamp onto the front of the projector
lens. It has adjustable mirrors to control convergence. It may be
adaptable to other purposes, such as projecting half-frame 35mm stereo
stills made with the Stitz or Pentax--but you'd have to work out the
mounting. The device weighs 2 lbs 1 oz., it is of all metal
construction. One of the front surface mirrors is cracked and will have
to be replaced, and the sheet polarizers are missing. Otherwise, the
unit is in good working condition. I don't think it will be too hard to
replace the mirror; it is mounted with foam double-sided tape, and the
unit disassembles with hex screws. (By examination, I don't think total
disassembly is necessary to replace the mirror.)

These items sold for between $400-$500 when new, but there was a big
demand for projection units in 1983. I don't know what price to put on
it now, make me an offer and we'll see if we can come to a deal.
