S3D Even RARER book with O.W. Holmes Stereoscope Article, 1859

This is a hardbound copy of the Atlantic Monthly, January-June 1859, Vol 3.
It contains 780 pages of the original articles from the infamous Atlantic
Monthly during that period. 

Of interest to stereo historians is the ORIGINAL Oliver Wendal Holmes'
article intitled " The Stereo and the Stereograph". This is of course the
guy who invented the Holmes-Bates stereoscope which we are all familiar
with. Interesting insight to a long past era.

Other interesting period articles address slavery, Cuba, Men of the Sea,
and a catchy title 
"Ought Women to Learn the Alphabet?"

All pages are in excellent condition and complete, but the binding and
cover are in need of repair.

Price is $70 plus shipping from Canada.

PLEASE NOTE: SELL 3D seems to be a haven for people who ask for am item
then never send payment. I would say up to 20 percent of my sales here have
been this way, so I have revised my policy: If you want it please pay
within 3 weeks after finalizing the details. Unless I am notified, I will
simply sell the item to the next person after that period, and REFUSE to
sell to the guilty party again!
