Here is an unusual combination. The cameras are twin Yashica Samurai Z and
ZL. Each camera dates from the late 1980's. LCD display and features, zoom
and SLR viewfinders. They are bridge cameras and therefore 35mm half
frame. They look like camcorders and it is rumoured that SONY based their
camcorder design on the Samurai. The most unusual feature is that the ZL is
the world's only left handed camera (to my knowledge) therefore on a bar
they are a mirror image of one another. Because they are bridge cameras and
have a vertical film path it is possible to get close separation and the two
viewfinders are also eye width (if you wish) so you actually have a stereo
viewfinder.
The cameras are mounted together on a bar, they are not electronically
linked at present but two handed shutter button are easy as they are on
opposite sides of the cameras. Each camera has autofocus and built in flash.
Several filters (including polarisers), one close up lens, external flash
adaptor and case are also included.
I'm looking for offers in the region of £275 sterling, I'm based in the UK
so shipping to the States is also an issue to consider before purchasing.
An unusual combination.

Tony Davies
