S3D Re: TDC Trays; why so high?

Possibly someone has a selectron unit and associated projector,
but hasn't ever had any trays for it, or wants
more. They aren't something one sees for sale regularly,
and not everybody knows to ask Dalia (or certain others) if
they have some for sale. So when you've wanted some for a while
(say, a year or two) and you don't want to wait another
year or two, then one may be willing to pay much more than those
who don't really want one.
That's certainly why I've paid $10~16 for stereo theatre trays
even though they'd probably cost $1.97 (plus no tax here in
oregon) at K-Mart if they were current production items.

P.S. - Of course, when those three people get their "fill", price
may go back down to zilch. I've seen the selectron stereo
unit (with tray) go on ebay for $10 , and it'll probably
happen again [I didn't get it either, I've no use for it].
I've overpaid for things occasionally on ebay because I
*WANTED* the item *NOW*, but when I'm patient and want
something "in the next six months", then I've gotten bargain
basement giveaway deals. Ebay prices vary wildly.
