S3D eBay: Unusual MF stereo glass plates from 1940s

This item is very unusual... A collection of 85 Medium Format
black & white glass stereo transparencies, 5 x 2 3/8 inches 
(unmounted), taken by an amateur photographer between 1940-1946 
in New York and Anna, IL.

A viewer is included too but it is in bad shape... Viewer and
slide mounting appears home-made.  Don't know about the camera.

I am sure you will find quite a few charming images in this lot, 
in this rather unusual format.  I enjoyed owning this collection 
for a few years now and it is time to pass it on. I was tempted 
to keep a few transparencies for my collection but I did not. 
This is exactly what was passed to me. I have only made 35mm 
copies of a few selective images for my stereo presentations.

Hope it finds a good home now... (Also hope that a large amount
of dollar bills finds its way to my pocket... but that's another
story :-)... what I really like is to reclaim my basement... with
my current rate of eBay selling it will take a few years but...
I am getting there...)
