Why reply off list tantomheck?  To confirm your suspicions?
The fact is that most people sell in ebay.  If you check other
newsgroups (like rec.photo.marketplace) you will see that the
same situation there too.

In the past we have discussed disallowing ebay references
but the majority felt that they will like to see them.
Then, a general recommendation was made to sellers to 
make an effort to post a few things here at fixed prices, 
before taking them for auction in ebay (or elsewhere).

Under the current status, the way I see it you have two options:

1. Quit sell-3d if ebay references bother you.
2. Give the good example by SELLING your goods here at 
   fixed prices.

As far as I am concerned, I will continue to use both sell-3d
and ebay as I have done this past month.  If the rules change 
and ebay references are not allowed any more, I will stop them, 
but, until then, I have no problem notifying people about unique 
items I put for auction in ebay.
