[sell-3d] FS Delta Stereo Camera and Flash

If you are not familiar with the Delta Stereo Camera, its first
distinctive feature is its color. The Delta was the only '50s stereo
camera that I know of that was blue! Two other features that were unique
to the Delta were its film advance system, and its under the camera
flash.

See http://WWW2.bitstream.net/~tlmartin/delta.html

The film advance knob pulls the film forward which also pulls the "film
measuring rack" with it. The film measuring rack is a toothed gear in a
track and acts as a stop for the film advance (it also cocks the shutter
and advances the film counter dial as it moves). When the shutter
release button is pressed halfway down, the shutters fire. Pressing the
button all the way pulls the film measuring rack toward the front of the
camera disengaging it from the film, and a spring pulls it to the
starting point in its track ready to "measure" the film for your next
shot.

The flash is a small box-like unit that attaches under the camera. It
has a built-in flash guard and takes four AA batteries. This flash does
have some battery corrosion and a small chip in back. It also has a
larger chip that is still there and can be glued back into place, but I
always get glue all over my projects, so the new owner can give it a
try.

A nice bonus for this set is that the original manuals are also
included. The covers are a little dirty and there are a couple of
wrinkles, but they are complete with great graphics.

The Delta was an inexpensive stereo camera introduced late in the stereo
photography game, so not many were made. Its value is in its rarity and
unique appearance. This one appears to function properly, but would need
a CLA if you intend to use it. It is in nice condition maybe a 9 in
appearance. $125
