I'm not usually on this list, but here's a commentary.

EBay is run by hypocritical IDIOTS! Just my opinion, of course.

They enforce these rules, including "NO advertising of other items" for little traders like my friend Xena, who sells Star Wars trading cards.  But, the POWER EBAY SELLERS seem to be able to advertise their stores and do whatever they please.

One item I did see was clearly against the rules.  Guy had 20 Star Wars 3Di cards, listed them at $1.70 each, said "DO NOT BID" and then gave his address so you could order whatever cards you wanted. That's not fair - he used Ebay as a listing service, then only paid $.25 for the use of the space.

But, I know Xena found the "customer service" people less than knowledgeable and less than helpful.
