This Camera has been my workhorse for the past
several years. I've purchased an RBT S1 and that
is why I'm selling it. It has the following
characteristics:

Serial Number - 019608 (yes it is a Custom - I
checked with Ron Zakowski and he assured me it was
a 100% custom. He has worked on it twice).

It has the white "50" stamp (for model 1050) in
three locations, Kangaroo leather which has larger
grain and is in perfect condition, the Realist
Custom plate on the front of the lens cap, the
Large rewind knob, the double exposure prevention
pull-out pin, a shiny new depth of field plate on
the side, an indexed (it clicks) focus knob, a
countdown frame counter, aperture ring handles,
and aperture numbers on top of the shutter (as
opposed to on the front).

The movements are as smooth as silk, and it winds
and rewinds easily.

The problems are with the brushed chrome and the
lenses: There is corrosion along the top front
and rear edge of the front plate and a little
pitting on the top plate, and a lot of corrosion
almost obscuring some of the aperture numbers on
the left (bayonet adjusting) lens. The rest of
the front plate is great! The lenses have two
cleaning marks on the right lens, and the lens
coating is deteriorating. It still takes sharper
pictures than your average Realist 3.5 and they
project very well. Some people have noticed the
lens problems in a good viewer. I couldn't tell.
It also has a light leak every once in a few rolls
(I think it is one that comes down through the
rewind knob). Zak said these were Rare Earth
lenses which are marked "German". The bottom of
the camera shows that it has been used; there is a
little "brassing" (this camera isn't brass but you
know what I mean).

The camera actually looks really good despite the
corrosion.

The flash shoe has been opened up to accept a
regular flash, but the bump has not been filed
down.

This comes with a great leather case with a like
new original leather strap, and a near mint custom
instructions pamphlet.

I'm asking $1050 or best reasonable offer.

Please mailto:gccampos@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx and put the
time you are replying in your email (in Case your
date stamp is off) so I can differentiate between
earlier offers.

Thank you,

Grant Campos

P.S. I sleep during the daytime, so I probably
won't get back to you until tonight. IF you have
a question, say something like this "If your
answer to this question is X, I will offer $YYY".
