**IF YOU WANT A S1 WITHOUT WAITING 1 YEAR FOR DELIVERY HERE'S YOUR CHANCE**
FOR SALE
RBT S1 A 59mm base - Ser 0907
*Dedicated flash, level in viewfinder
AE/focus lock/exposure mode control
Age: 5 months old
Air bag and pair of UV filters included + 1 box of RBT 7 Euro non
glass stereo mounts
NOTE: This S1 doesn't have the remote control jack.
Bought from Jon Golden in April 2000 for 3490.00.
- My S1 is in the same condition as when I received it from Jon. I
have used this camera only on some occasions (<20 rolls were exposed).
- I bought a S1 mainly because of it's flash capability and his fast
lenses. After having taken some pictures with it, I rapidly noticed
that I prefer stereo pictures where everything is in focus (using
f8-f11 appertures or smaller) and my old TDC Vivid camera do the job
perfectly in those conditions. I also crop almost all my slides when
I mount them so I doesn't use the full frame capabality of the S1. As
a wedding photographer, I think I prefer the 24x24 format much more
for my wedding jobs.
- My S1 camera doesn't have the remote control jack. I ordered only
the focus/exposure lock extra --> When I placed my order, S1 cameras
had the remote control plug UNDER the camera and this interfered when
putting the camera body on a flat surface. I know that RBT moved this
plug to the back/top on his recent cameras. Good decision.
- Before shipping to the buyer, I can send the camera to Jon Golden
for inspection. If it is sold in USA, there's a chance that he will
honor the 1 year warranty which normally extends only to the original
owner.
**Make me an offer, I'll sell to the highest bidder.**
Note: I'll answer my emails only next tuesday when I'll be back from
a reserve army exercise in the bush.
