I think what you mean to say is that a yahoo search turns up the
archived version of your post. Here are the Yahoo search results:
http://google.yahoo.com/bin/query?p=Vivitar+Instant+Slide+Printer&hc=0&hs=0
As you can see, the first item on the list is the archive of your
Sell-3D post.

It's not *on* Yahoo, it is on the world wide web, and the web is
searchable. Normally it is not possible to contact a Sell-3D seller
about an item (because the e-mail address is masked out), but your
post included your phone number.
While I sympathize somewhat with the plight of the unaware folks,
I'm inclined to assume they themselves aren't too worried about the
long distance charges. They should be able to plainly see that you
listed the item for sale on July 23, 1999.
I agree it would be nice to free you of the annoyance of the phone
calls. The only ways I can think of to (eventually) stop them is
for Marco Pauck (maintainer of the archives) to either a) edit the
source file to mask out your phone number; or b) "block" his sell-3D
archives from being indexed by the web search engines.
If the search engines are asked not to index the sell-3D archives,
it may still take a long time for a) the search engines to remove
the hit from their index; b) a site like google to decide to allow
the cached version of the page to drop off. So don't expect instant
relief. (Though I imagine you aren't exactly getting calls every day
about the item.)
I hope this helps explain what is happening.
Advice for future sell-3D posters: if it's a one time offering, it may
not be a good idea to include your phone number.
