I finally got around to checking Paypal out a few weeks ago and the business account requirement made the decision simple.

This is confusing to me also. They say "businesses" need to sign up for
business rather than individual accounts now, but that individuals can
still send or receive money free via their accounts. Do they assume that
anyone who sells on ebay is a "business" (it appears so under the
auction tools section) or do they have some other definition? What about
nonauction transactions between individuals, such as sell-3d or other
internet based transactions? -Linda
