[sell-3d] Commercial quality lenticular rail

Now that making lenticular pics can be done on an inkjet printer, using 40 lpi
lenticular stock (available from Lexjet and others, and comes with free
Superflip! software), I thought there might be interest in this gadget. It's a
Computrak 290 lenticular rail, with a Nishika mfg name on it. Unlike the usual
Nishika product this is commercial gear, and made of machined aluminum. It has
scaling marks ranging from 1mm to 53mm for fast camera repositioning, and
marks for doing up to 8 frame lenticular images. It has holes in the bottom of
the two foot long rail threaded for standard 1/4-20 threads. The head is a
quick release type, and has Velbon markings. When I bought it there were no
instructions, but looking at it and comparing it to the manual for Nimslo's
commercial lenticular rail called an Autotrak, I'm pretty sure they're
identical. The manual shows the setup information for 8 image lenticular
composition (just like the Computrak), with a series of scaling tables at the
back of the booklet, plus formulas, including an extra page of formulas for
foreground/midground/background setup in conjunction with camera type (35mm or
120) and lens focal length. (The attached page is from work posted to Photo3D
and developed by John Bercovitz and Grant Campos.) The rail comes in a padded
case, with keys, and a photocopy of the Nimslo Autotrak manual. You can see it

Price is $150 plus post.
