Wow!  What an overload of mail on this subject.  I can't keep up!
Bill asked what a good test subject would be.  I like a wireframe
cube because humans really know what cubes look like so they can
sense the distortion of a cube into various other six-sided figures
which they are also very familiar with.  You have to be a critical
viewer, though; come to the party with no preconceptions as to what
the object's shape is.
