FED Camera (OOPS) Offer

Sorry to bring this up here but could one (or a few) of you either reply here
or privately regarding the technical merits of a FED camera.  Is this a good
camera for the price, or am I getting into something I should probably stay
clear of.  I've seen a lot of discussion on the FED but have not actually
followed any of it.  Just the facts and technical info if you could.
