My mistake for not being clear. I meant to say the target in front of the
light source. The target is a backlit test pattern. It can be a grid,
radiating lines, whatever you need to have something as reference to focus on.
You made me scramble to find my old copy of the Nimslo book. It's a little
vague as to how they're using it, as I see no reason the collimator has to
have an exact focal length of 200mm.
