I use an SLR on a slide bar and mount in 5P mounts.
Just hold your depth of scene down so you don't have
too much on-film deviation. The wide SLR film gives
you lots of excess film to trim away when you mount
in 5P.
As an example, let's say you have a 2" lens and the
object is 12" away. You take each shot from 1.25"
off center (to make 2.5" separation of views). So:
(2/12)1.25 = 0.2" 0.2" is how far off center your
object will be on the film chip. The film chip is
36 mm or 1.4" wide. If your object is .2" off center,
it is then .5" from the nearer edge. That means your
max aperture width is 1". A 5P normal aperture is
.8" wide so you have lots left over to throw away.
