T3D Testing the lenses

   I've mentioned this once before but I'll bring it up again.
I'd be very interested in the test procedure for these lenses.
John B., if you could (or if you know) could you ask your contact
to detail the tests he will do on these lenses.  I'm no expert on
lens design but I've still never heard of a test procedure for 
testing lenses used like we do in a "virtual imaging" mode.  If all
he's going to do is give us MTF and through focus curves along with 
some spot diagrams (all "real imaging" metrics) is that going to tell
us how good they will work as viewer lenses??!!  If so, that's great!!
I got my answer.  It just seems to me one would test an imaging lens 
different than they would one used as an ocular/eyepiece/viewing lens.
