T3D Restoring Antique Stereo prints

I dont think this is the right group for this but I got no response from
photo-3d. An acquaintence of mine has given me a name and telephone number
of someone who has a number of antique stereo views which have got wet and
peeled of the backing cards. What I realy need to know is there anyone in
the UK who has had experience of remounting old stereo views that I can
pass the phone number onto. Failing that what sort of glue is suitable
(archival) and what sort of solvent is safe for removing any excess glue
from the face of the print etc.
