This is absolutely true.  I have been frustrated by this in P3D many times.
Trying to explain some concepts in text only is sometimes very difficult.

I personally don't care if you post graphics to the list, since my mailer
won't download anything over 10K.  Kills a lot of spam, and kills huge
files I don't necessarily want to receive.

But I offer an alternative.  I can create a web page for this purpose, and
will publish graphics that are sent to me, if the group agrees this is
helpful.
