Because of the weekend's high volume and lower prices, I'd assume that
the weekend is when most individuals post their items for sale while
weekdays is when businesses (dealers, etc) are "at work" and post their
auctions -- with their statistically higher priced items that yield higher
net prices.

Did I guess right?  Is there a prize?  :-)

Now if we could have 1200 auctions of the identical item by people with
identical feedback scores (which at least influences my bid price) to see if
there were a pattern.... :-)
