The generic Rollei IR is made from Schott RG 695, ie 50% transmission
at 695nm. It is also equal to #89B, and you should be able to look
through it in bright sunlight....*can* you?

Just curious....this increased sensitivity is based on reversal kits
in general, right? (I have never done it....8-))

I have another formula on my homepage about this reversal processing,
in a homebrew Kodak D-67 equivalent. It is extracted from an article
in the German Foto & Labor. It results in 1600ASA btw, with *no* loss
of IR or halo characteristics....so long for slow IR film....8-))
