I found that when I combined a #25 and a polarizer, I got extremely dark 
skies.  One photo/print that I have the sky was completely black with 
menacing(sp?) clouds.  It is one of my favs because the sun was behind my 
back and lit everything up in a very nice way.  It can be hard to descibe 
in words, so I won't.  You are going to have to remeber that combining 
these two filters amounts to an enormous light loss, a min. of 4 stops IMHO.
