Some of us have all the luck! The twits that distribute Agfa
B&W stuff here in the US refuse to admit to the existence of
Atomal. Also, they were never able to distiunguish between the
different versions of Atomal, threating them interchangeably
as one product. They also stopped selling what, IMHO, was the
BEST toner commercially available, Viradon. What finally
did me in with them, though, was the end of Portriga-Rapid.
BOO! HISS!

Enough digression. I have tried two developers which produce excellent
results on Konica IR750. One is dilute Microphen. The other is
Microdol-X, also at 1:3 dilution. Processing wortks out the same
for either developer. I am achieving a useable EI of only about 12,
measuring incedent light and usingh a #25 filter. Thuis would
be about equivalent to an internal meter set at 100, so I'd guess
the film speed achieved would be about the same.

I have been looking for some Diafine to test with this film. In my
experience, Diafine is good for a legitimate 1 to 1 1/3 stop push,
and not the numbers that they claim. But a one-stop push with this
gorgeous, fine-grained film would be a real boon! Has anyone tried
IR750 in Diafine?

Thanks,
Ed Lukacs
