Hi gang,

For those who have details about the IR list on their homepage: make
sure that the listed procedure to subscribe is correct [see
'complaint' below]. 

The best solution, IMHO, is adding a link to my homepage
[http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mainpage.htm]: I have a
separate page for the list announcement. That also allows me to
update procedures if neccessary, without still having incorrect info
texts available on other sites. This also goes for the welcome
message btw, I update it rather frequently, so it shouldn't be
available elsewhere.

Hi,

I tried to subscribe to the infrared photography list but did not 
succeed. This is whatI did:

First I send an email to listproc@xxxxx with subject
SET INFRARED-PHOTOGRAPHY MAIL DIGEST and no body, as is described 
on the 'Invisble Light' web-page. I got a return message saying 
'error empty body' or something similar.

Secondly I send a message with SET INFRARED-PHOTOGRAPHY MAIL 
DIGEST in the body and no subject. This resulted in a return 
message stating VOLKERTS@xxxxxx: You are not subscribed to 
infrared-photography@xxxxxx 

So finally I send a message saying SUBSCRIBE INFRARED-PHOTOGRAPHY 
VOLKERTS and as an answer I got the message 'SUBSCRIBE requests 
for list INFRARED-PHOTOGRAPHY are disabled' 

Where did I go wrong? Can you help me?
