- Profession/Study: Elecrical and Electronics Engineering Student since 
1989 (!). Still 2 years to finish.

- Country: Turkey Ankara ( I think I am the second member form Turkey 
after Ibrahim Pamuk )

- Personal history of photography: Learned to take pictures when 12. 
Begin to make my own B&W prints in late 1989 in Amateur Photography Club
of Middle East Technical University. http://www.metu.edu.tr/~wwwphoto/

- preferred subjects: Friends for memorial portraits not for artistic 
approach. Designing and building images of mostly abstract kind for some 
concepts. Nowadays everything seems odd on IR film.

- materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry): ILFORD 100 and 400 DELTA
for B&W work (negative and reversal). ILFORD Multigrade RC (1M) paper. 
Kodak EPP 100 for reversal color work. Kodak HIE for IR. Waiting for E-6
IR. 

- format (35mm/medium format/large format): 35mm. Canon EOS 600. EF
50mm/1.8 (old metal mount type with infrared corection mark). Speedlite
300EZ for memorial shots. I want to get an EF 50mm/2.5 compact-macro.

- Other strange hobbies: Amateur Electronics (especially optoelectronics
-- IR diodes, detectors etc.), computers. Fixing, hacking and reverse
engineering almost everything. 

- How did you find out about this list: I am proud that Willem-Jan invited
me personally. I take this invitaion as to my Photo Club.

- Expand on anything photographic you like: I have started photography to
learn it just as many other technological things that I am interest in. 
Now I am trying to use it as a method of screaming out my existance. 
Photography is just a technology that can be used for everything and by
everyone. Art is also can be created and/or performed by everyone
interested in. Usage of photography for art is my way. Others can try
other things for art or use photograhy for other goals. Both photography
and art are things that can be related or not. They should not be
confused.
