I trust that modern flash tubes can be relied on to deliver
significant energy at the appropriate wavelengths.  Your use of flash
at the recent wedding seems to have confirmed that, but I wonder
whether flash units vary in this respect.  Certainly it's not a
specification that many flash purchasers are likely to have inquired
about!
