I set my flash meter for ASA50, and the negatives
are maybe a half-stop thinner than I'd like. Outdoors I was
getting an effective ASA of 800 with the 87C.
10-12 ASA, really? Are we comparing ASA's to DIN's
or something? That's a pretty wild variation.

I used TMAX developer, probably not a great choice,
but what I had on hand. If I'm concerned above all with
getting less grain, and don't mind sacrificing film
speed, what developers would people recommend?

Could you give us a brief lecture on Schwarzschildt effect? ;-)

Unfortunately, she didn't show up.... Next month, she says.

Seriously, though, I've tried split-filter printing
to get local contrast enhancement of tattoos against
light skin. I'm experimenting with the IR
films to try to accomplish the same thing.

If only the SFX-200 was available in medium format....
My flash system isn't powerful enough to get a useable
depth of field for portraits with the Konica.
