Yes, I have to admit that his statements usually have the ring of
fact, even when they're opinion. All I mean is that his opinions
usually are firmly based in fact.

Since I keep a "watch" filter set for any posts from him in
rec.photo.equipment.35, I'm aware when he's working. At those times,
there's nothing; a few days later there will be a flurry of automatic
downloads when I check the newsgroups. Aha, David's back!
But because of his interest in panoramic photography I'm surprised
that he doesn't even subscribe to that list. He gave me the name of
the processor who handles his Widelux prints, but the processor
refused to take my less demanding work because I live "too far"
away--maybe 30 miles (45 km?)! It must be nice to have all the work
one can handle.
