Oh, I didn't mean to sound harsh, he and David Ruether (aka Bob
Neuman) are indeed an incredible source of info, no question about
that.
The problem is that David Rosen states it as a fact (even in the IR
FAQ I believe), without addressing it to one specific model/brand.
Normally I believe him at his word, but since more people do, and he
didn't reply once on my several questions to be more specific (both
postings and email), I can only assume he is the *source* of this
'rumor' (until proven otherwise of course).
To use his own words: just normal Usenet precaution....;-))
He was recently wrong about the film-transport-delay mode of the EOS
RT vs 1n RS too....

He's not on the list; at least AFAIK, since he and David Ruether/Bob
Neuman seem to use more accounts for their valuable Usenet
contributions. Actually, I have seen neither one on any list.
Strange on one hand, impossible on the other hand, regarding their
never ending stream of postings on Usenet. They simply don't have time to
read and contribute more....:-))
