Well, I've been lurking for a while, just reading the discussions on 
IR photography. I haven't done any yet, but the excitement in your 
posts is contagious. I will shoot some soon and will share my 
experiences with you all.

Started in college many years ago, learned as many others do - trial 
and error. Have recently got back into photography more seriously. 
This late rekindling of interest was sparked by my experiences 
managing Apple's two digital camera projects. My interest in IR was 
sparked by the challeges we faced in accounting for and controlling 
the effects of IR on color CCD sensors.
