I know. I expressed myself badly. IR Ektachrome film is generally used
with a non-opaque (easy to see through!) filter but can be loaded
normally. Well I always have.

It wouldn't be any more suitable for IR Ektachrome than any other camera
that accepts filters. What I meant was that it might, and might not, be
usable for b&w IR film due to the film loading eccentricities, but it
would be suitable for IR Ektachrome anyway.
