Willem-- just a quick note--another reason the ektachrome infrared can be
loaded in subdued light is the fact that the color emulsion layers of the
film cover the infrared layer, thus blocking most of the light. p. s.--I have
had very good results using Cokin varicolor filters with a separate
polarizer. The green, magenta, and blue all produced different and
interesting color shifts. The green kept the sky a natural blue and turned
the grass and trees deep magenta, the blue produced magenta skies and
vegetation and the magenta filter produced brownish/purple skies and orange
vegetation. a red filter with a polarizer, also will produce orange
vegetation, but skies will record as blue/green. try these filters and see
what you think.
